How To Find A Good Breeder!!
Located in Brandon, Manitoba Canada, we are breeders of exceptional quality German Shepherds with great temperaments, health, conformation, and the ability to be up for ANY task or challenge!
–Elhart has evolved from a lifelong love of animals and passion for German Shepherds. With Jemine working at a full time job, our German Shepherds are first and foremost part of our family and not our source of income. Exercise, training, and fun with our dogs is our top priority.
Breeding is a very time consuming, emotional, and rewarding experience in which we do on a limited basis. Our goal is to produce healthy, balanced, bred to standard German Shepherds that can easily fit into family life and be enjoyable company to people and kids of all ages.
In the past, we have bred American and West German Show Line bred CKC Registered, Purebred, German Shepherd family companions and show/breeding/therapy/working quality German Shepherd puppies. With each litter, we continually strive to achieve a higher level of breeding. Puppies produced from these litters, are: healthy, incredibly logical, problem solvers, ready to learn, and as always, great family companions and show/breeding prospects with herding, schutzhund, tracking, rally, obedience abilities!
Here is K9 Ricki Bobbi and K9 Aria – the brother and sister are paired together on the MSAR K9 Unit working for the Manitoba First Nations. The team will head up north on the winter road this year 2023 together and work to find missing community members.

In the last several years, Elhart has invested with importing European lines into our kennels to produce some of the top pedigrees in Manitoba, Canada and the surrounding area. These dogs are selected by working with reputable breeders throughout Europe. Jemine has travelled to each kennel to pick up the selected dog(s) in person and meet with the breeders. In doing so, she can inspect the dogs/kennel environments, meet numerous dogs in the pedigree allowing her to see the temperament and health of lines. We are truly thankful for the breeders that have shared their dogs/pedigrees with Elhart and worked so patiently in getting our German Shepherds to Canada over the years.
Elhart has produced puppies that are located all across Canada, USA, and Europe.
We provide ongoing support to our families throughout the life of their Elhart German Shepherds and love to receive photos and updates.
